Rocco Cocchiola Sr., born in Brooklyn and a longtime resident of North Babylon, NY and Brandon, Florida, suddenly passed on November 17, 2016. Devoted husband to Elizabeth of 59 years and beloved father of sons Marc Sr. (Grace), Rocco Jr. (Maria), daughters Lisa, Julia and cherished grandfather to Marc Jr., Dominic, Alyssa, Racquel, Ariana, Jacquelyn and beloved sibling of Anthony, Frances Keller and Charles (deceased).

AKA "Rocky", he and Elizabeth were childhood sweethearts and were active in the Our Lady of Loretto Drum & Bugle Corp when they first met in Brooklyn. They lived in Hawaii where Rocco was honorably discharged as 3rd Class Seaman in the US Navy. Moving to North Babylon they raised four children. He was an award-winning District Sales Manager when he retired from the Prudential Insurance Company after 25 years of service. After retirement they moved to Brandon, Florida, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Florida Brass Drum & Bugle Corp, the St. Rocco Society and the Egypt Shriners of Tampa, in which he was a past president. Rocky was an active volunteer for many years at the Shriners Hospital for Children - Tampa, as well as the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Of all his passions - family, friends and his dog Remy were his favorites.
